Since those early days, we’ve built a series where drivers compete on equal footing, where the best racers rise to the top regardless of budget. Legend Cars Australia is one of the most entertaining and accessible categories in the national motorsport scene.
With over 160 registered cars and grids regularly topping 30 entries, it delivers high-energy racing, low running costs, and a true sense of motorsport community.
In 2025, TFH Racing officially took ownership of the category, with a bold goal in mind: to elevate Legend Cars to the next level — both in terms of visibility and competitiveness — while keeping its grassroots spirit intact.

WHAT MAKES LEGEND CARS UNIQUE?
Legend Cars are 5/8 scale replicas of classic 1930s and ‘40s American coupes and sedans, built on a standardised platform that prioritises driver ability and close racing.
Chassis: Purpose-built tubular frame
Engines: Yamaha 1250cc motorcycle engines
Weight: Around 500 kg
Transmission: Sequential 5-speed
Tyres: Hoosier spec
Performance: 0–100 km/h in under 4 seconds
It’s fast. It’s loud. And it’s some of the closest racing you’ll find anywhere in Australia.
